Congrats! You are getting married. Lets take a breath and I will tell you 2 things about me, I am a 10+ year professional wedding photographer & filmmaker, and I still love marriage like my first day shooting one. When I was writing this blog I was thinking, what would I love someone told me before I got married? How many things did I lose due to ignorance? Facts of life. Weddings are an investment both mentally and financially.

Fact no 2. It does not matter how much money you have, some of the best weddings I have been to were low budget productions, and some of the most kitsch weddings I have been to have cost hundreds of thousands of euros. Price is not always related to taste and quality. What does matter? Trust. Yes, trust someone who has done it before you but also trust your own taste (mainly listen to the little voice inside you).

Magazines and wedding blogs are all paid listings now. Everything you see being promoted around you has been paid for by someone. All; not all. Everything that I write here is based on what my brides tell me, experiences, tears of success and of course failures from the preparation of the wedding to the choice of wedding venue or villa ..

If you want to get married near the sea or in a venue that overlooks the sea at a price below 50 euros it is quite difficult to find something, as although Attica has beautiful beaches everywhere it does not have the infrastructure for a wedding. In the southern suburbs and towards the Athenian Riviera the places are few and in great demand. One way to bypass this is to have a brunch wedding on Sunday morning with brunch, Wedding on Thursday in summer or wedding in April and October, generally an off season wedding.
